God is the Creator of the Universe

(Genesis 1:1) “In the begining God created the heavens and the earth.”

(Isaiah 45:18) “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”

(Colossians 1:16) “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”

 

All Scripture is the Inspired Word of God

(2 Timothy 3:16)   “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

(John 1:1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

(John 1:14) “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

(Matthew 24:35) “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

 

God is a Spirit

(John 4:23)   “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”

(John 4:24)   “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

(Ephesians 4:4)   “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.”

 

God is Love

(1 John 4:8)   “He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love.”

(Matthew 22:37)   “Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

(Matthew 22:38)   “This is the first and great commandment.”

(Matthew 22:39)   “And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

(Matthew 22:40)   “On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

 

God is One

(Deuteronomy 6:4) “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord.”

(Isaiah 45:22)   “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is none else.”

(John 10:30)    “I (Jesus) and my Father are one.”

(Galatians 3:20)   “... God is one.”

(Colossians 2:8-9)       “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

 

In the Father
