THE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that all scripture is the inspired Word of God
(2 Timothy 3:16) "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
(John 1:1) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
(John 1:14) "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
(Matthew 24:35)
"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

We believe in one God

(Galatians 3:20) "...God is one."

We believe that God is a Spirit

(John 4:24) "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

We believe that God is love (1 John 4:8) "He that loveth not knoweth not God: for God is love."
(Matthew 22:37) "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind."

(Matthew 22:38) "This is the first and great commandment."
(Matthew 22:39) "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
(Matthew 22:40) "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

We believe in the Father

(Matthew 16:17) "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."

We believe in the virgin birth
