GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The ever-expanding campus of the School of the Prophets is situated on just over ninety acres of land interspersed with buildings, lawns, fields, a river, and woods. Located just a few miles outside of the town of Rocky Mount, VA, the campus gives the privacy of living in the country while still being within a convenient distance from the town.

ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

The Administration building is a dual use facility, and the main hub for student activity. The first floor of the building, adorned with a beautiful stone fireplace and water fountain, houses the students dining hall. The second floor of the Administration building houses staff offices including the President's office, Deans’ offices, and Student Services office. Special student activity rooms such as the computer lab and student council workroom are also located in the second floor of the Administration building.

Sports & Recreation

On campus we provide a lighted sports area including tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball. It is used frequently by students for daily sports activities and recreation.

CAMPING & HIKING

Our central campus is surrounded by 150 acres of undeveloped forest. Until it is needed for future expansion, this property is useful for hosting our annual youth summer camp. Our students and campers often enjoy hiking our trails and spending nights camping along the banks of the river.

Crandall Center

The next phase of our campus growth is our multi-purpose education and student center which will be named in memorial of our founders Joseph and Marjorie Crandall. This 42,000 square foot building will become our new center of campus. The Crandall Center will include a new kitchen and cafeteria with 250 person seating, class rooms, offices, two indoor basketball courts, a student break area, and library. When completed, this new building will allow us to renovate our other current buildings to better serve the needs of our local church and other departments of our college
